The Lansing Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) is a quasi-government agency which signs annual contracts promoting economic development within the city. As a local advocate for businesses, the LEDC acts as a liaison for private businesses with the city.

The LEDC and Spartan Internet realized the need for new features on the LEDC website that kept viewers interested with interactive features as well as connects them with social media.

We worked with the LEDC to add twitter feeds, video thumbnails and exporting options for project reporting. New sections were added to college students and a redesigned top navigation system brought more attention to important sections of the website.

Additionally, we built upon SEO and viral marketing focusing on current and new keywords to increase traffic.

The LEDC saw increased traffic to their website and higher site times and page views because of the changes made to design and increased features. With their newly revamped website, the LEDC is able to promote their hard work for the City of Lansing, as well as connect more deeply with those interested in their ongoing and upcoming projects.
